Freqently Asked Questions
Exchanges, Trading & Market Access
Why is the pricing on some exchanges erratic or unreliable?
Are deposits open yet?
Will Bitmart be relisted? What about LBank?
BDAG will be relisted on both LBank and BitMart as part of the planned exchange rollout strategy.
- 30 May: Pre-open trading begins on both exchanges.
- 30 June: Full trading opens across all scheduled exchanges.
Why is BlockDAG listing on unknown or low-tier exchanges? Where are LBank and BitMart?
- Phase 1: Initial market access via faster-moving venues.
- Phase 2: Controlled liquidity and order book stabilisation.
- Phase 3: Larger exchange listings (including LBank and BitMart).
- Phase 4: Broader price discovery under mature market conditions.
Why was trading suspended on LBank, and will it relist?
- Sufficient liquidity depth.
- Balanced deposit and withdrawal access.
- Consistent arbitrage flow between exchanges.
When will deposits and withdrawals open across exchanges?
- Sufficient cross-exchange liquidity depth.
- Balanced order books across venues.
- Functional arbitrage flow to prevent price distortion.
- Full operational readiness across all active exchanges.
Is it hurting the project that people can buy cheaply?
How will BlockDAG ensure fair price discovery across exchanges?
- Enabled deposits and withdrawals across all active exchanges.
- Consistent liquidity depth on each venue.
- Functioning arbitrage flow to align prices between exchanges.
- Reduced market fragmentation.
Is the team working with external market makers?
- Tighter bid-ask spreads.
- Deeper order books.
- Improved trade execution for users.
- Reduced volatility during the early market phase.
Why is trading not fully open across all exchanges yet?
We already have trading active across multiple exchanges. Others are opening deposits and preparing liquidity ahead of April 8.
We are doing the opposite — staged rollout, proper market making, and structured liquidity.
That’s how you protect 151,000 holders — not gamble with them.
Why are some exchanges behaving differently?
Let’s be clear:
- Some have open deposits (preparing for April 8)
- Some are trading normally
- Some are not aligned with our market-making strategy
- Some are running bot-driven environments
We are not supporting platforms that distort the market. We are aligning with exchanges that support long-term liquidity and real price discovery.
What’s happening with pricing right now?
- We control liquidity
- We phase exchange access
- We align market makers
The goal is simple:
What is being built beyond trading?
This is the part most people underestimate.
We are building:
NFT Marketplace
DEX (swap, lending, borrowing)
Smart contract builder (open source)
Full ecosystem infrastructure
On-chain USDT integration
Developer tools and hackathons
Trading is just the entry point.
Wallets, Dashboard & Access
Why Wallet Set Up Matters
- View your BDAG balance
- Interact with on-chain contracts eg; allocation and vesting contracts
- Send and receive transactions
Setting Up your Wallet
The recommended wallets include MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Bitget Wallet, and Plus Wallet.
These wallets connect via WalletConnect to the BlockDAG platform. For other wallets you should contact your wallet provider support direct.
It is important to note that BlockDAG does not provide support for third party wallets. We do however provide the critical details for you to connect to the BlockDAG Network. See above.
Here are some generic steps you can use:
Metamask:
https://mainnet.blockdag.network/mainnet/wallet-setup#metamask
Trust Wallet:

Connecting your Wallet to the BDAG Network
If the network or token does not appear automatically in your selected wallet of choice, you may add it manually.
General steps:
Open wallet settings.- Select “Add Network” or “Custom Network”.
- Enter the official BlockDAG network details.
- Save the network.
Use only the verified BlockDAG mainnet parameters below when adding the network manually.
Here are the official Mainnet Details to connect your wallet to the BDAG Network
Network Name: BlockDAG Mainnet
RPC URL: https://rpc.bdagscan.com
Chain ID: 1404
Explorer: https://bdagscan.com
Chain Type: EVM- compatible
How do I access my Dashboard
- You will be required to connect your wallet so that the dashboard can retrieve your data and history
- This is simply a matter of clicking Connect Wallet button, and follow the prompts.
NOTE: You must use the wallet that you identified when you purchased your BDAG as this is where you BDAG has been allocated to at TGE.
If you have changed your wallet since TGE, then you will need to move the assets (inc BDAG) into the new wallet.
I changed my Wallet after purchasing my BDAG
The easiest solution is to move your old crypto wallet to the new one, by either importing your secret recovery phrase (seed phrase) into the new wallet app/device or by transferring assets via blockchain transaction. Using the 12-24 word recovery phrase restores all your addresses and balances instantly.
- Get your seed phrase: Locate the 12/18/24-word recovery phrase from your old wallet.
- Open the new wallet: Install and open the new wallet app or device.
- Select "Import": Choose the option "Import Wallet," "Restore," or "I already have a wallet".
- Enter words: Carefully enter the phrase in the correct order.
- Set PIN/Password: Create a new password for the new device.
- Verify: Your funds should appear, as the new wallet is now authorized to manage your keys.
NEVER share your seed phrase with anyone, ever.
Ensure you are using the official wallet software.
My Base Wallet is not compatible with the BDAG Network
Can’t see any BDAG to Claim in my dashboard
Your BDAG is allocated to the wallet that you nominated when you purchased your BDAG. The allocation contract will send your BDAG here ONLY.
Claims & TGE
Mainnet Launch - What should I do
What users should do:
1. Ensure you retain access to the wallet used during presale or the wallet linked to your dashboard.
Via: https://purchase3.blockdag.network
2. No claims or BDAG will be allocated on Day 1. Mainnet Launch
Token Generation Event (TGE) and Claim Process
- BDAG claiming opens via the BlockDAG dashboard.
- Circulating supply is released in line with the published vesting schedule.
What you should do:
- Log in to the BlockDAG Dashboard https://purchase3.blockdag.network
- Connect the same wallet used during presale. Select “Claim BDAG”.
-
Confirm the transaction in your wallet. You will need to sign the transaction in your wallet that you used as part of the presale process. (You will be prompted to sign / verify the transaction so follow the prompts) This will ensure that you are the reciprocate to receive your presale purchase allocation of BDAG.
Claim Process Overview
- Claims are executed on-chain.
- Tokens are sent directly to your connected wallet.
- Only the portion unlocked at TGE is claimable. Based on the vesting contract allocation and your presale parameters. (Default vesting is: 40% then 20% per month over 3 months.)
- Any remaining allocation is released automatically according to vesting.
Additional Notes:
- BlockDAG does not charge claim fees.
- Users pay only standard network gas fees.
- Claims do not expire and can be completed later if needed.
How does the Vesting contract affect the tokens I can claim at TGE
Vesting schedules determine when tokens become liquid, when they can be traded, when they enter circulation. Get this wrong, and you create instability – sudden supply shocks that can crater value and punish long-term believers. Get this right, and you create a stable foundation for sustainable growth that rewards patience and aligns everyone's incentives toward the project's long-term success.
Why is my Total BDAG Balance different from my Claim screen?
- Allocated BDAG from all purchase rounds.
- Bonus allocations.
- Wallet-linked balances.
- Any other account-level totals.
- The current active claim batch.
- The vesting-unlocked portion.
- Tranches supported by the currently deployed claim contracts.
How much presale allocation is still locked, and what does the unlock schedule look like?
- Some allocations are already claimable.
- Others remain locked by vesting rules or batch sequencing.
- Claim availability expands as additional contract rounds are activated.
Why were promo coins shown as 100% bonus?
The coins are present in your account. The issue is one of display classification, not missing funds. Support cannot alter the recorded allocation structure after the transaction has been processed.
Why does the claim process show what looks like a 500,000 gas fee?
Can’t see any BDAG to Claim in my dashboard
Your BDAG is allocated to the wallet that you nominated when you purchased your BDAG. The allocation contract will send your BDAG here ONLY.
Are tokens real and tradable?
BDAG is:
- Minted
- Distributed
- On-chain
- Already trading
What varies right now is:
- Where you can deposit
- Where liquidity is active
- Which exchanges are fully open
That’s rollout — not a limitation.
Supply, Liquidity & Tokenomics
Why did you tweet updated supply figures to CoinMarketCap?
Where is the After-Sale allocation coming from? Treasury? Staking?
Where did the initial exchange liquidity come from?
Can the team share the real circulating supply today?
The supply should be understood across the following categories:
- Liquid market float: claimed and unlocked user holdings actively tradeable.
- Locked staking: coins committed to staking contracts and not in circulation.
- Vesting-controlled allocations: presale and other allocations still subject to unlock schedules.
- Exchange liquidity: coins deployed to exchange order books.
- Treasury and ecosystem reserves: project-controlled funds not in open circulation.
What percentage of supply is in exchange liquidity vs treasury and ecosystem wallets?
What are treasury and special wallets for?
- Exchange liquidity provisioning.
- Ecosystem growth initiatives.
- Strategic partnerships.
- Market-making support.
- Operational runway.
- Developer incentives.
- Long-term network expansion.
What long-term coin supply mechanisms protect the economy?
- Controlled unlocks and staged vesting schedules to prevent sudden supply spikes.
- Staking participation, which locks supply and reduces liquid float.
- Treasury discipline, ensuring strategic reserves are not released to the market without purpose.
- Utility demand generated by ecosystem products: NFT marketplace, DEX, launchpad mechanics, and dApp participation.
Staking & Rewards
What is BDAG staking?
Step 1: Connect
Step 2: Commit
Step 3: Earn
IMPORTANT: Currently staking is ONLY available using a Metamask Wallet
Why Stake?
- Emission-Backed Rewards
Earn BDAG directly from protocol-level issuance.
- Infrastructure Alignment
Support operational stability and ecosystem strength.
- Long-Term Incentive Design
Structured to reward committed holders over short-term speculation
- Direct On-Chain Participation
No custodians. No intermediaries. Native mainnet interaction.
When do I earn and claim staking rewards?
However, rewards can only be claimed after 4 weeks of continuous active staking. If you unstake before completing 4 weeks, rewards will not be eligible for claim.
How are staking rewards being emitted, and what inflation should people expect?
What happens when I unstake my BDAG and how long does it take?
- A 3-week cooldown begins
- Your BDAG stays locked during cooldown
- You still earn rewards until withdrawal
- If you add more BDAG during cooldown, the timer resets
BDAG staking operates on 7-day epochs.
If you submit an un stake request during an active epoch:
You must wait until the current epoch completes before withdrawing principal and eligible rewards.
You continue earning rewards for the remainder of that epoch.
This epoch model ensures synchronized reward accounting, fairness across participants, and operational stability.
What about staking and rewards?
- UI delays
- Dashboard sync issues
- Claim timing inconsistencies
Not loss of funds.
Ecosystem & Roadmap
Are there dApps and ecosystem projects coming in the next 6–12 months?
Planned development includes:
- NFT marketplace.
- Expanded staking mechanics.
- A DEX for on-chain swaps and liquidity.
- ERC-20-style token launches on the BDAG network.
- BDAG Turbo launchpad.
- Broader developer ecosystem activation.
What happens next?
- April 8 → major trading unlock
- More exchange integrations (including Tier 1s)
- Miner rollout → decentralisation expansion
- Ecosystem products going live
- Liquidity deepening across markets
This is where structure turns into scale.
Network & Infrastructure
What network metrics can the team share now that mainnet is live?
Is BlockDAG centralized because of node whitelisting?
- X30 and X100 miner rollout
- Expanded node participation
- Open network scaling
Why should the community stay confident?
- Mainnet → delivered
- TGE → delivered
- Token distribution → delivered
- Exchange rollout → in motion
- Ecosystem → being built
Most projects don’t get this far.
